About MY Father’s Studio
Founded in 2016, our goal at My Father’s Studio is to help students realize, cultivate, and enhance their love for singing. We are a studio for the 4 - 99 years old. However, not only is our humble studio a place of practice for the singing voice, it is also a place where they can be their own artistic selves and leave judgement out the door.
So bring a friend, or come alone. Sing for 30 minutes or an hour. Let’s Make a Joyful Noise.
Meet Nicky
Nicky (Dominique Allado) has more than 15 years of teaching to students from K - 12th grade. She received her voice training at the Colburn School Conservatory, concentrating in classical singing and received her Certificate of Distinction in Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Nicky has also received training from renowned Master Classes, specifically with Ann Baltz from Opera Works to name a few.
Nicky is passionate about Jesus Christ. Daughter to a minister, her passion for singing started in church, where she was a praise and worship leader for many years.
She has had the opportunity to teach voice and singing techniques to children and teenagers in Hong Kong, China. Working in a diverse city with different ethnic backgrounds also gave her an opportunity to develop multiple approaches to teaching the singing voice. Her clients have been seen on Nickelodeon and the Disney channel.
Now residing in Los Angeles, California, Nicky is a part of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera and continues to be a part of the praise and worship team all over Southern California.
